Who We Are

Pack 850 is an active group based out of Brookside elementary in Lake Forest Park. The Pack is made up of boys and girls from several nearby schools including LFP Elementary and Briarcrest. We are currently the second largest pack in the Chief Seattle Council! Scouts range from Kindergarten through 5th grade, and each of those grade levels also meet separately in what we call “dens”. Our yearly cycle matches the school year, so we start up in September and crossover in June. Below is some general info on how our Cub Scout Pack works.

Leading Youth to Lifelong Values

“On my honor, I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.”

What We Offer

We offer kids an opportunity to have fun, learn valuable new skills, and take part in unique adventures while gaining leadership experience, self-confidence, and learning how to work as a team.

Pack meetings happen monthly between September and June and den meetings are generally monthly during these same months. Occasionally we’ll add extra optional events like a hike, overnight camp, or a sledding day up at Snoqualmie Pass.
